Tax Officer

Are you a detail-oriented tax professional with strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations? We are looking for a Tax Officer to join our team and support accurate tax operations, compliance, and reporting.
In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring day-to-day tax processes run smoothly and all tax obligations are completed properly and on time.
Key Accountabilities
Manage daily tax operations, including:
Verification of supplier invoices related to tax
Generation of VAT Out
Generation and distribution of WHT slips
Collection and filing of VAT In documents
Perform tax reconciliation and equalisation between Tax GL accounts and SPT for WHT and VAT
Ensure tax reporting and tax payments are completed accurately and in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries for tax adjustments
Maintain the promotional nominative list
Liaise with and support internal and external parties during financial statement audits and tax audits
Support ad hoc tax-related projects based on business needs
Stay updated on tax law and regulation changes and ensure internal practices remain compliant
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Fiscal Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a taxation role
Basic understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting principles
Hands-on experience with Indonesia’s tax application (CoreTax)
Experience using SAP is highly preferred
Familiarity with tax documentation standards, reconciliations, and audit preparation
Brevet A & B certification is an advantage
Positive can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
