Mechanical Engineer - Plant Cilegon
Job Requirement:
1. Experience: 3-5 years in a continuous production line.
2. Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
3. Skills:
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, especially in rotating equipment.
- Have knowledge of maintaining raw material transfer (bucket elevator, screw conveyor, belt
- conveyor, chain feeder, etc)
- Have Knowledge of maintaining raw material storage (Buıer Silo and static structures).
- Have knowledge of maintaining dust collector, exhaust fans, blower fans, burner systems, drying.
- Have knowledge of maintaining utility equipment (e.g compressor, chiller, piping system).
- Have knowledge of maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive in driving continuous improvement.
- Understanding of IMS for safety and quality management.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Maintain a clean and organized inspection and maintenance area.
2. Monitor daily machine eIJciency and equipment downtime.
3. Propose corrective and improvement action plans to the Mechanical Supervisor.
4. Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and annual maintenance plans.
5. Motivate, train, and develop mechanics; propose manpower organization for eIJciency.
6. Ensure compliance with HSE standards and report incidents.
7. Monitor energy eIJciency, reduce CO2 emissions, and implement sustainability practices.
8. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, develop SOPs, and align plant goals.
9. Collaborate with HR on employee development and act as a role model for Knauf values.
