Specification Manager
Role Overview
The Specification Manager is responsible for driving early-stage specification of Knauf Plasterboard products into key projects. This role builds strong relationships with architects, consultants, developers, and authorities to secure approved specifications, positioning Knauf as the preferred system and product choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with architects, consultants, developers, and regulatory authorities to secure product and system specifications.
- Promote Knauf solutions through technical presentations, seminars, and workshops.
- Ensure Knauf products are included in design specifications, tender documents, and approved vendor lists.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to specifiers during design phases.
- Monitor project design stages and hand over to Project Sales team for project tracking and closing.
- Develop specification tools, guides, and materials in coordination with marketing and technical teams.
- Maintain and update CRM and specification tracking system regularly.
- Keep abreast of market trends, standards, and competitor specification activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years experience in specification sales or technical sales within building materials.
- Strong technical knowledge of plasterboard systems and construction methods is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and project documentation.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on early project influence and value selling.
